Horsham Riverfront Sculpture Commission

Very excited to be starting work on a  sculpture commission for the  banks of the Wimmera river in Horsham.  It will be situated in a central meting place in the middle of riverfront re-invigoration project.

A 5.5m high tree structure essentially with the form of a tree but with all elements having a dual inspiration of river and tree. Detailing suggestive of a meandering river, with tributaries feeding in, with shapes that could be ripples on the river, or twisting branches or bark. Rivers being such a focal point for life, meeting and community and with the tree an iconic symbol of the life that grows from a river.
